Over the course of five years, photographer Henrik Hviid traveled throughout Scandinavia, documenting the rockabilly culture. His book features nine portraits of various individuals and events, offering readers an intimate glimpse into this subculture. Visual cues are significant in any culture, as they highlight the connection between particular beliefs or ways of life. Therefore, I developed a unique identity for each portrait, inviting readers to immerse themselves in the visual world that accurately represents this culture.
I løbet af en periode på 5 år har den danske fotograf Henrik Hviid rejst rundt i Skandinavien og portrætteret rockabilly kulturen. Bogen indeholder 9 portrætter af forskellige mennesker og begivenheder, der giver et indblik i rockabilly kulturen.
I enhver given kultur spiller det visuelle aspekt en vigtig rolle, da det understreger tilhørsforholdet mellem bestemte trosretninger eller livsstile. Derfor designede jeg en identitet for hvert portræt, der inviterer læseren med ind i det visuelle univers der netop omfavner denne kultur.
