COFFEE WITH A NEW PERSPECTIVE

OBJECTIVE

N.G.C. is a visionary project. Since 2013 they have invested in young coffee farmers by giving them scholarships in advanced agriculture techniques, thereby insuring their future and the future of great coffee.

CONCEPT

In order to underline the purpose of the brand, the coffee farmers wrote a short statement about their N.G.C. involvement on the coffee bag. Along with the coffee bag, there is a folder with an interview of some of the young farmers, which is placed within a transparent coffee bag. The brand identity and the packaging design have been designed as an objective frame in order to amplify the farmers and their stories. 

To communicate the tagline of the brand, Coffee with a New Perspective, I made an illustration of a cup with an eye that looks around, giving the brand a contemporary look and a significant brand mark.

Inspired by their admiration for beermaking I made a logo-typeface inspired by the curves of Raasteds bottle, giving it a modern characteristic and distinguished look. Furthermore, I design a dynamic and easy recognizable label, that simplifies the wide range of the beer flavours that Raasted produces, a design that is easy to implement new flavours.
