Mahlers Vinhandel is an old wine store in Aarhus, Denmark, who in 2013 introduced their first exclusive single malt whisky, rare bottling and in a small batch of 60 bottles.
Raasted Organic caters to a feminine segment. The beer range are infused with different botanical extracts such as juniper, wood sorrel, roses, ginger, elderflower, guarana ect.. The idea behind the visual identity was to effeminate the poetry of organic brewery as well as the freshness and crisp taste of each single beer.
Aarhus Malt targets the connoisseur who only focuses on the content, therefore I designed a simple reversed label forcing the viewer to look through the whisky in order to read the content of the label. The curved bottle magnifies and distorts the typography and the golden colour of the whisky is reflected in the typography – this gives the viewer a significant and profound experience, which complement the uniqueness of the whisky.
